Allain Basque

Allain Basque, hailing from Acadia in Campbellton, New Brunswick, has swiftly established himself through his genuine passion and dedication to social and community initiatives. Beginning his academic journey in communication at the University of Moncton, he later embraced the arts, joining the theater program at the regional CEGEP of Saint-Hyacinthe before further refining his artistic prowess at Prochant School in Montreal. In this vibrant city, Allain found his true calling in event organization, a domain where he has consistently excelled.

Since joining the Jasmin Roy Sophie Desmarais Foundation in December 2012, Allain has been instrumental as a project manager, focusing his efforts on eradicating bullying and violence in educational settings. He spearheads the design, coordination, and execution of significant projects, managing fundraising endeavors and support programs for associated schools. He significantly amplifies the Foundation’s influence and outreach by fostering essential relationships with organizations advocating for inclusion and tolerance.

Beyond project management, Allain shines in roles such as media relations manager, social media overseer, and website content editor, having commenced these responsibilities in May 2012. He adeptly curates content for multiple corporate social platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Social Sprout. He demonstrates an exceptional capacity to devise impactful content strategies, maintain rigorous publication timelines, and navigate the ever-evolving digital landscape.

Allain’s expertise also encompasses crisis management, vigilant social media monitoring, press kit composition, and event planning support, encapsulating a broad spectrum of activities vital to enhancing the Foundation’s visibility and efficacy.

As the inaugural project manager after the foundation’s inception, Allain’s distinctive proficiency in graphic design further diversifies his multifaceted skill set. His innovation, zeal, and unwavering commitment are pivotal in propelling the Foundation’s mission forward, establishing him as a leading figure in philanthropy, particularly in educational and social inclusivity.
