As part of its first edition in 2016, Fondation Jasmin Roy and the Royal Bank of Canada will award the Pink School prize for combating bullying in schools. This award, accompanied by a $2,500 cash prize, will be presented to the school that organizes the most outstanding Day of Pink.

Day of Pink is the international day against harassment, discrimination, homophobia, transphobia and transmisogyny throughout the world. On April 12, we invite you to turn your school pink to celebrate diversity in all its forms. Fight discrimination and bullying by wearing a pink shirt and by organizing activities.

We invite you to document all the initiatives that will be taken on that day. Afterwards, participating schools will be able to fill out the online form and attach photos and videos. You will have until April 30, 2017 to submit your application.

The mission of Fondation Jasmin Roy is to fight discrimination, bullying and violence against primary and secondary school children. It is important for us to highlight initiatives that make schools healthy, safe and caring environments for all students. The team of Fondation Jasmin Roy is convinced that such initiatives promote diversity in our schools and help prevent students from dropping out.
