Magaly Brodeur

Dr. Magaly Brodeur is a family physician and assistant professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Sherbrooke.

Her research interests include health policy and improving the health care and social service experience for people with mental health disorders, particularly behavioural addictions.

Dr. Brodeur has a unique multidisciplinary background. In addition to her doctorate in medicine with a specialization in family medicine, she holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in international relations, a master’s degree in political history and a doctorate in applied human sciences.

Throughout her career, she has won numerous awards including the College of Family Physicians of Canada’s Leadership in Medicine Award and the Institute of Public Administration of Canada’s Thought Leadership Award.
