Patricia-Anne Blanchet works as an advisor in Indigenous pedagogy at the Faculty of Education at the University of Sherbrooke, where she is also a doctoral student and lecturer. There, she coordinates the M8wwa ᒪ ᒧ mamu committee, which works with numerous Indigenous partners to raise awareness among the university community as well as the inclusion of Indigenous perspectives in teaching training.
An artist-pedagogue specializing in dramatic and oral arts didactics, Patricia-Anne’s research focuses on performing arts education in an Indigenous context. In a posture of cultural humility, She also acts as a consultant and editor for several Indigenous organizations (La Boîte Rouge Vif, Centre des Premières Nations Nikanite, Friendship Center movement in Quebec, etc.).
