Patricia-Anne Blanchet

Patricia-Anne Blanchet works as an advisor in Indigenous pedagogy at the Faculty of Education at the University of Sherbrooke, where she is also a doctoral student and lecturer. There, she coordinates the M8wwa mamu committee, which works with numerous Indigenous partners to raise awareness among the university community as well as the inclusion of Indigenous perspectives in teaching training.

An artist-pedagogue specializing in dramatic and oral arts didactics, Patricia-Anne’s research focuses on performing arts education in an Indigenous context. In a posture of cultural humility, She also acts as a consultant and editor for several Indigenous organizations (La Boîte Rouge Vif, Centre des Premières Nations Nikanite, Friendship Center movement in Quebec, etc.).
