As President and co-founder of Askida for over 20 years, Steeve is responsible for overseeing business development and strategies, mergers and acquisitions and partner relations. Today, Askida excels at software development, modernization and software quality assurance and is recognized for its custom services and its concern for quality.
Prior to founding Askida, Steeve held many roles in IT in the financial field, including at the Laurentian Bank of Canada where he managed the development and integration of critical banking systems and applications. He also held the position of Director of the IT department of La Financière Prêt et Épargne et des Caisses d’Entraide Économique where he was responsible for the evolution of systems, the development team and the implementation of new banking products.
In addition to being a past member of the Board of Directors of the Quebec Association of Technology (AQT) for 14 years, Steeve has participated in several fundraising sports such as Make-A-Wish Quebec. He is now involved as President of the Montreal Youth Shelter Council, an emergency center for young people aged 17 to 25 at risk and is proud to be joining the Jasmin Roy Foundation.
Steeve holds a BS in Computer Science from Laval University and a Masters in Project Management from University of Quebec in Chicoutimi.
